FRQE translates cybersecurity, compliance and cryptographic evidence into modelled financial exposure. It is designed for prioritisation — not to pretend uncertain future loss is an exact number.
Regulatory status, cryptographic assets, data sensitivity and retention, control maturity, vendor dependencies, public findings and client-provided evidence.
FRQE combines documented risk factors, relevant penalty ceilings, breach/operational impact assumptions and exposure modifiers. Proprietary calculation logic is protected, while the assumptions used in a client result are disclosed.
Modelled exposure range, confidence level, key drivers, source references and a remediation priority order based on financial impact.
Synthetic numbers for demonstration only. They are not a penalty forecast or customer result.
FRQE is designed to help security, risk and finance leaders compare material exposures using a common financial language. Each report should show the assessment date, methodology version, material assumptions, evidence sources, confidence and limitations.
FRQE does not guarantee that a regulator will impose a particular penalty, that an incident will occur, or that a loss will equal the modelled number. It is not legal advice, an actuarial opinion, statutory audit or certification.
Reports identify the FRQE methodology version and assessment date so changes to laws, benchmarks or assumptions are traceable.
Inputs distinguish primary regulation, official guidance, customer evidence, public evidence and model assumptions.
Where evidence is incomplete, the report should widen the range or reduce confidence rather than present false precision.
